Scheduled for release in the second half of 2026, the Hyundai Inster electric SUV will take on rivals like the Tata Punch EV. It is already available in global markets with two battery configurations – a Standard 42kWh delivering 97bhp and a Long-Range 49kWh offering 115bhp. New-Gen Hyundai Creta

Codenamed SX3, the next-generation Hyundai Creta is expected to receive major updates in both design and features. It may also include a new hybrid powertrain that pairs a 1.5L petrol engine with an electric motor and strong hybrid technology. In addition to this new hybrid option, the model will retain its current engine options – the 1.5L naturally aspirated petrol, 1.4L turbo petrol, and 1.5L turbo diesel units.

This engine will be supported by regenerative braking and V2L (vehicle-to-load) charging capabilities. It is expected to produce up to 334bhp and 460Nm of torque.

These upcoming Hyundai SUVs reflect the brand’s effort to meet the diverse needs of Indian consumers by offering a mix of style, technology, and performance across segments.
