Renault has officially launched the 2025 Kiger facelift in India, and it comes with a fresh design, upgraded features, and a competitive starting price of ₹6.29 lakh (ex-showroom). The more powerful turbo-petrol version is also available, starting at ₹9.99 lakh, making the Kiger one of the most affordable yet feature-packed SUVs in its segment.

Updated Design and Exterior

The new Renault Kiger has received subtle but noticeable design upgrades. At the front, it now features a slimmer grille, sharp DRLs, and Renault’s new logo placed at the center. The revised headlamp housing and new bumper with integrated fog lamps add to its modern appeal.

From the side, the silhouette remains familiar, but Renault has added a fresh look with 16-inch alloy wheels in a new design. To make things more vibrant, the SUV now also comes with a new green paint option, adding to its youthful personality.

Cabin and Interior Features

Inside, the Kiger facelift carries forward its spacious cabin but with small yet meaningful improvements. The dashboard now comes in a dual-tone black and light grey combination, giving the interior a more premium touch.

The SUV is equipped with an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, paired with a fully digital instrument cluster for a modern driving experience. Despite its compact size, the Kiger continues to offer 405 litres of boot space and 222 mm of rear kneeroom, making it practical for families.

Technology and Safety

Renault has packed the facelifted Kiger with features that are usually seen in higher-priced SUVs. Some of the key highlights include:

  • Ventilated front seats
  • 360-degree camera
  • Automatic headlights and wipers
  • Wireless charger

On the safety front, the SUV now offers six airbags as standard, along with ESP, tyre pressure monitoring system, and hill start assist. This makes it one of the safest compact SUVs in the budget-friendly segment.

The Kiger facelift will be available in four trims – Authentic, Evolution, Techno, and Emotion, offering multiple feature combinations to suit different buyers.

  • A 100 hp, 1.0-litre turbo-petrol

The standard transmission is a 5-speed manual, but buyers can also opt for an AMT with the naturally aspirated engine or a CVT automatic with the turbo-petrol engine. Renault claims that the Kiger offers the best-in-segment 0-100 km/h performance, giving it a strong edge against rivals.
